Sensory Processing Patterns in the Workplace in
Adults with ASD
Researchers: Tiziana Bontempo (MSc Candidate), Rosemary Lysaght, PhD (School of Rehabilitation Sciences, Queen's University, ASD-CARC Team Members)
What do we want to learn? We are interested in exploring the role of different sensory processing patterns in adults with ASD and learning about their participation in paid employment.
How long will it take? The study is divided into 2 phases:
Phase 1: Completion of a questionnaire on your general sensory experiences. You do NOT need to be working to participate in this phase of the study.
Phase 2: If you are currently working or recently working you may be asked to participate in an interview to talk about your work.
Who can participate? You are eligible if: you are 18 years or older and have an official diagnosis of Autism, Asperger syndrome, PDD-NOS, or Atypical Autism, and do not have a severe hearing or visual impairment.
How can I participate?
