Donations, Special Research Funds, and Sponsorships

Donations:
Your donation helps us to create and maintain AutismConnects and to carry out the full range of research projects described under ASD-CARC Research. This includes the Identification of Genetic and Environmental Factors affecting Susceptibility to ASDs; Neurophysiological Studies on ASDs; Developmental Trajectory of ASDs throughout the lifespan; Studies on Communication in Individuals with ASDs; Epidemiology of ASDs.

Special Research Funds:
If you would like to start a special fund within our Research Program, in honour of someone, we are happy to discuss this with you. Funds that are donated to that special fund would be used for the purposes agreed to at the time the Fund is set up and could include: Research on the Genetics of Autism; Research on potential Environmental Factors affecting Autism; Research on teaching Communication Skills to individuals with Autism; Summer Scholarships for Promising Students; Scholarships for individuals on the spectrum or their siblings to conduct research during the summer with ASD-CARC mentors. We invite companies and individuals to consider Sponsorships, such as Sponsorships of AutismPro ( www.AutismPro.com) for families in need who are unable to access therapy for their children on the Autism Spectrum; Sponsorships of Prizes for Families completing questionnaires for specific research studies.
