The Parent Advisory Group is a group of parents representing a full range of Autism Spectrum Disorders and ages. The Parent Advisory Group reviews current autism research and questionnaires and discusses ideas for new research and recruitment. They are an invaluable resource for ASD-CARC since they provide the researchers with important feedback about new studies prior to launch.
During many discussions, the Parent Advisory Group realized that there were particular issues about which they were all concerned or curious and came up with a list of research questions for other parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. These questions have been split up into several different surveys (so far 5 have been released) and new sections will continue to be posted periodically. There are questions related to behavioural, medical, developmental, and morphological features. The results may help us identify new areas to focus on in greater depth. To complete these questionnaires, please login (or register if you have not already).
